A second pair of hands.

Optimus is a general-purpose humanoid built to take on the repetitive, heavy and tedious work, at home, in the studio and on the workshop floor. It learns your space, not your secrets.

§01

The machine

Built for the world as it is, not as robots wish it were.

Our homes and workplaces were designed around people: stairs, door handles, drawers, shelves at eye level. Instead of rebuilding every room for a machine, we built a machine shaped for the room.

Optimus stands 172 cm tall, walks at a comfortable human pace and uses the same tools you do. You teach it once by showing it, and it repeats the job, then refines it quietly every time.

  1. A

    Learns by watching

Show a task once, narrate if you like. Optimus builds a step plan, asks when it is unsure and saves the routine for later.

  2. B

    Thinks on board

Vision, planning and speech run on the local compute core. Your floor plan and routines never need to leave the building.

  3. C

    Soft where it counts

Force-limited joints, padded shells and a 360° awareness field. When a person gets close, it slows down. When touched, it yields.

  4. D

    Serviceable by design

Modular limbs, a hot-swappable pack and over-the-air skill updates. Parts clip in and out. Nothing is glued shut.

Anatomy

Five systems. One body.

SYS-01

Perception

Eight global-shutter cameras give a full 360° view, while a depth module and six-microphone ring pick out voices across a busy room. Everything is processed on board in under 40 ms.

§03

A day with Optimus

Sixteen hours, zero complaints.

A typical weekday in a household running the Home edition, taken from our field-trial routines.

  1. Coffee's on, bread's out

Wakes from dock, runs the morning routine you taught it on day one and sets the table for three.

  2. Laundry, folded and put away

Sorts by colour and fabric, folds to your house style and returns each stack to the right drawer.

  3. Deliveries, unboxed

Carries parcels from the door, breaks down cardboard and puts groceries where they belong.

  4. Plants, pets and prep

Waters the plants, refills the water bowl and chops vegetables for dinner, then steps back when you walk in.

  5. Lights off, back to dock

Locks the door, checks the stove is off and docks to charge, silently, before you're asleep.

§05 · Trust

It works for you. Not for anyone else.

  • Local first. Maps, faces and routines are stored encrypted on the robot. Cloud features are opt-in, and you can switch them off.
  • A real off switch. A physical stop button on the back of the neck, plus a spoken "Optimus, stop" that works offline.
  • Privacy shutter. Cameras can be covered mechanically. You'll see and hear when it happens.
  • No-go zones. Mark rooms off-limits in the app and Optimus won't enter or look into them.

§07

Questions

Asked, answered.

Does reserving cost anything?

No. A reservation holds your place in the queue for your region. You'll be asked to confirm, and only then pay, when your delivery window opens. You can cancel at any time before that by email.

When will deliveries start?

First deliveries are planned for 2027 in selected regions, then expanding in waves. Reservation holders are contacted in the order they signed up.

Is it safe around children and pets?

Optimus limits contact force at every joint, slows automatically near people and animals and stops at once on voice command or with the physical stop button. We still recommend adult supervision around small children, as you would with any large appliance.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Core skills, navigation and voice commands run on the robot. A connection is used for optional updates, remote check-ins and new skills from the library.

How do I teach it something new?

Demonstrate the task while saying "Optimus, watch this". It plays the steps back to you for approval and saves them as a named routine. You can also guide its arms by hand in teach mode.

What about repairs and servicing?

Limbs, hands and the battery pack are modular. Most parts can be swapped at home with guided instructions, and certified technicians handle the rest under the 3-year warranty.

Hand it over.
